  1. What is the Bulgarian currency?

    Bulgarian currency is Bulgarian Lev (BGN). Since 1997 , Bulgaria has accepted currency board with fix to EUR rate 1 EUR = 1.95583 BGN.

  2. Do Bulgaria has Double Tax Treaty Acts?

    Bulgaria has signed Agreement for avoiding Double taxation (DTTA) with more than 70 countries, including USA, Israel, Romania, etc.

  4. Should I be in Bulgaria during the process?

    You or one of the company managers will need to be here couple of times for 1 day to sign the documents of the company , other that no, we will take of the rest.

  5. How long does it take to set up everything ?

    well, its up to you … if you are focused and know what you want (don’t worry if you don’t know exactly we will guide you trough) from our first meeting to working environment can be as fast as 3 weeks including everything!

  6. Why MIFID (Trading) license in Bulgaria?

    Bulgaria is part of the European Union, which allows your company to operate under the similar (recognizable) rules and regulations. The country’s legislation is largely synchronized with the relevant European legislation.
    Bulgaria itself provides sufficient political stability and predictability.
    A clear procedure for granting a license, provided that the applicant meets the conditions set by law.
    A license that permits the provision of investment services and activities within the European Union, European Economic Area and in third countries, just upon notification (single European passport).

  7. How long it takes to register company?

    The procedure for preparing documents takes between 3 to 10 days – depending if the owner is individual or company. The period for public entry of the company in Commercial register is three days.

  8. Do I need local manager?

    Non-Bulgarian citizens can be managers of Bulgarian registered companies. There is no limitation.

  9. Can foreigner have company in Bulgaria?

    Yes.

    There is difference for the registration documents for individual or company owner, but both options are allowed.
